I find it ironic that he is complaining about making the Final 4 and then 8 of his players put their name in the portal when in 2006 he made the Final 4 with George Mason and then left the school to go to the highest bidder (Miami.)

Regardless, he was an incredible coach who the ACC will miss. Miami has been a thorn in the side for Duke over the past 10 years, that run looks to be over.

He had a good run but the last few years have been awful. Is it health reasons? If not, as a coach you are getting paid a lot and have 3 more months to finish out the season. I don't understand these coaches quitting on the spot
I doubt he peaces out if the Boozers committed

He may be pulling the Tony Bennett maneuver. Quitting at a time when one of his assistants is the only interim option

Now leonard Hamilton being sued by players for NIL money promised. What a ****show.
FSU should sue them for the Lipscomb game last yr among many others. When they were dreaming up nil, we were told that the Shadeur Sanders and Cooper Braggs of the world would be compensated for video games and jersey sales not schools paying six figures to bad players on bad teams. The public was sold a bill of goods and you’re right this is a total sh- show. Duke has just paid 8 million dollars for a qb from Tulane very few on this board could pick out of a lineup

This. Why not provide YOUR guys an opportunity? Assistant coaches get it done, could be a Dabo situation. I am sure the players don’t mind playing for the current assistants.
