Recco was announced as being the new PBP announcer in early October. He isn't doing the call today though and probably any Sunday until football season is over due to his duties with the Cowboys.

Noticeably better than Carlin. Reminds me of the Bruce Johnson days where you can actually paint the action in your mind from listening. Carlin is back today and he literally just says players' names as the ball is passed to them.

just heard him on the pregame vs Molloy and it was a MAJOR improvement...such a professional voice, perhaps he can take over for Carlin in football. RU loyalist or not Carlin has a terrible speaking voice for play by play

Recco serves as cowboys pre and post game show host, so expect him to miss any games that are on a Sunday as this is a previous commitment

Will be interesting to see how much time he will miss on B and C give big ten travel

Nah, we'll be OK. Unlike the Penn State idiots, Carton is embarrassed by the Cuse hoops program's NCAA violations and the Bernie Fine fiasco. I'd be shocked if there was anything outside of the routine ball busting that goes on in studio.
