Personally, Rutgers hoops has been my almost singular focus since the season started. The OSU game stung like few before. Yesterday,this generation's Day of Infamy put the season squarely in perspective. This might be more appropriate for the Current Events Board. But it is about the juxtaposition of basketball on larger society for me. I hope this doesn't offend anyone.It is about perspective for me.

Sports are an escape. Working from home, I don’t know what I’d be doing if not looking forward to the next Rutgers basketball game. Makes life like little 3-4 day segments with something to look towards.
For those without diehard sports fandom, can’t imagine what it must be like right now, without being able to go out it seems like an endless abyss which is why it doesn’t surprise me that people have all gone nuts, regardless of political affiliation
