Jacksonville vs New Bern

Lol...maybe so. Cards should have a successful night let's hope both teams stay injury free.
We didn't beat a very good team Friday night but maybe that gave us some sort of confidence going into this game. Our QB made some mistakes early but also made some strides in his reading of the defense and decisions in regards to the triple option. I'd like to string together a couple of W's, but we'll have to earn it against a very good opponent.
I tell you what the Cards had better not come into this game taking the Bears lightly. I don't care what New Bern record is those are some hard nose kids with good coaches. There will be athletes every where. I promise you they remember that beating last year in New Bern.. Cards better realize real fast that this is not Rock Mount Prep....if they don't it will be a long night. However if they stay focused and do what they are capable of doing. They should be successful. Cardinals are a pretty solid football team...but they cannot sleep on anyone.
Lotta respect for the Cards and the Williams'. Beau and his mama taught me a couple of classes back at New Bern from 2002-2005. I pull for you guys every game, just not this one.
Jacksonville 56-21 could have been worst. Coach Williams called the dogs off. New Bern scored on a scope from a fumble. Another fumble by the Cards gave them a very short field. They had one legit score. Was not even close. Jacksonville did what they do and run the ball like crazy. Witthington kid went off. Had no answer for that speed. Card's better not pound their chest to much. They put the ball on the ground I think 4 times and still scored 56 points. Better tighten up.
Well New Bern as usual they have athletes. Just can't put my finger on it. Looks like they will do the same as they did last year put a string of wins together and sneak in the playoffs. It's just Jacksonville was just to much for them. I tried to tell folks and nobody wants to hear it. Over 600 yards of offense turn the ball over 5 times I think. Could have been more and still win by 35 with your starters all sitting on the bench the entire 4th and half of the 3rd. I don't know..just maybe the Cards might get recognized as a solid football team. Barring injury this will be a deep playoff team who will give anyone they play so.e serious fits. That overall team speed and all the athletes they have they can match up with anyone.
