Herbstreit had ASU as one of the four teams in the playoffs at the start of the season..
It's a Saturday game and prime time on the other coast. ....plus, while fantasy is all the current rage people gambling have always boosted tv ratings for games the general public doesn't give twos ***** about...
It's CLEARLY better than the Liberty....or any other lower tier during the work week.
It's on a Saturday night. Anybody who doesn't have to be awake early on Sunday morning shouldn't have a problem.
The cheapest current ticket is 23 bucks but wouldn't be surprised if it got to a dollar. I got my orange bowl ticket for 8 bucks 2 days before the game

The good news is Arizona St is perhaps the biggest "don't give a crap" fanbase of any enormous school. Most underachieving athletic department in America bar none, and part of that is the indifferent fan support.
If we had to draw any major school as a virtual road game for the bowl, they are by far the team that gains the least advantage from it. That said, clearly the Sun Devils have the ability to beat us just as anybody else does. I seriously doubt we could have won by 2 TDs on the road at UCLA or taken Oregon into 3 OTs.

Asu is ranked 101st in total defense but K State is ranked 97th Asu is 25th in Total offense. The big problem is they are ranked 19th in kickoff returns only 60th in punt returns though
Bold statement after what we watched on Saturday. Never underestimate the capacity of our guy to be outmaneuvered by the man on the other sideline.
Who is shaking? This is a home game for the most part for them, and still I see it going into the 4th as anyone's ballgame....a pretty good matchup but we are better IF the coach doesn't screw it royal...
