I think St. Rita pulls it out. They controlled the game against SF, and I left really impressed with the team they have.
Also, the St. Rita people on this board are some of my favorite. Makes me pull for Rita hard when they’re not playing SF, would love to see them beat MC and get a title, and I genuinely think this is the year they do it.

Yes. Super competitor. He tends to be a problem for most teams.
I was in Okinawa (no Cobra Kai references please) on deployment for that entire season. I found out how MC did every two weeks when I got a delivery from my Dad in the snail mail and he sent me the Tribune Prep Plus and Taylor Bells Sun Times. Back when they actually had about 4 pages of articles on the games and every Monday they would post the top 10 leading passers, rushers and receivers. Calling home was a chore because of the 13 hour time difference so I call home was every 2 or 3 weeks for 10 minutes with my calling card. But I do remember calling on Thanksgiving hoping to hear my Dad say MC is playing for State this weekend but instead he said "Your team blew it against Rita in the quarters" (he never eased into anything) Trying to recall my Newspaper clippings for a month earlier I yelled "What??? Didn't they beat them a month ago?" He then went right to the throat responding "Yep they sure did, not this time though!" I miss that guy!!!
