Not sure about the TJ Otz hype train as far as in-game coaching. But his team is fast, physical, tough, athletic, play extremely hard and have defenders at the post. Clones lost their point guard to injury before season. Lipsey (sp?) adequate for a frosh. Just missing a little offense but they're not far off. What I'm saying is....always a Hawk but like what they have. I think ISU is a step ahead of Iowa
program wise. Agree? Disagree? Ok, fire away....I can take it.

They can certainly recruit better, which pretty much dismisses the aruments of the apologists that claim top talent can't be recruited to the state of Iowa.

First year after a 2 win season and they go to Sweet 16, something Fran hasn't done ever. Now they are in a much better position than Iowa to get back to the Sweet 16 because they defend. I loathe ISU but they play 10X harder for TJ than any Iowa team has played for Fran. The hyperbole about how players love playing for Fran and that he has their backs should translate to how they play at some point right?

Fran's window for better closed when Garza and Keegan graduated. The future is trying to play fast, shoot 3's and win games in the 80's with a roster built to play in the 50's. Fran is living on the vapors of Dr. Tom's successful teams minus the talent.

I think Purdue would like to avoid ISU in the tourney. Their pressure defense could give the Boilers fits.
