As someone with a rich Portuguese background and heritage, Nunes is offensive. The Portuguese community has seriously discussed stripping him of his heritage (at least on the politics board in my hometown which is prob 65% Ethnic Portuguese and Cape Verde). He’s just a complete jackass. And he pronounces his name wrong. Everyone I know with the same last name and Portuguese heritage pronounces it “Nooonz” not “Noon-YEZ” which is more the Spanish pronunciation.
And he just lost a lawsuit to a Twitter handle that lampoons him. Devin Nunes’ Cow. It’s hilarious.
