I think the SMU team was better. I don’t think we can truly evaluate this win until we see how their season goes. The SMU game was very near the end of the season so we knew what we were dealing with.
...and on the road, that broke a long SMU home winning streak.

But any win over a top 20 Big XII team is a really big deal, both profile-wise and getting the attention of casual fans. We used to draw 8K plus so there are clearly fans out there that are not coming to games any more.
Hope those of you who haven't done so yet will buy the cheapo tickets at the Mabee. After Thursday, TU won't be back in the RenCen until the last of the first week in january.

WSU was the first Top 10 win in LONG time.
KSU may be a signature win for this season a and may take over the SMU game.
