Kind of feel bad for Adrian, but Luke is a much better decision maker. He's more decisive.

Offense definitely feels different with him behind center. You can tell he’s still super green in the passing game but he’s got all the tools

I don't know that Luke makes smarter decisions, but he makes faster decisions. They need SOMETHING and his aggression can at least pressure the defense

He's predictably raw, but I love the energy and the big play ability

Need to try and get something down the field but he has avoided the huge mistakes that have killed us from Adrian the last few seasons. Really like his accuracy on the short swing passes.

He should get better. I like what I see so far. Moving the chains.

players are like fans. The new shiny thing gives hope, until it breaks and proves that the system is broken and not just the qb. Anybody with a shred of knowledge about football would know that qb is the last thing we should be worrying about. We can't snap the ball consistently, we can get push off the line, we do not open holes for running backs, we are not consistent at wr in anyway...route running, catching, blocking. Luke isn't a thrower yet, so he really needs a dynamic running game. We don't have it. I would play both, and get luke at wr and rb for 15-20 snaps. Maybe even WR tosses.

Don't worry. Amart will make a good backup

We have many of the same issues with Luke we had with AM. But it was nice to get a W.

I realize it's upsetting to you, but LM is 1-0.

Luke does not have the arm to be a great QB. Maybe Smothers will be capable of throwing the ball down field? If not, Frost may need to find a transfer QB for next year.

Perhaps by default. I know this much, the passing scheme doesn’t do him any favors.

If you’re okay with the second half results. They spotted us 17. If you think the second was good offensively then sure. Love Luke but he’s a runner. Teams will put 9 in the box. He won’t last unfortunately.

So much wrongness in this post. His arm is ok, but he’s a winner. He could be a great qb at Nebraska. You were probably the same dork obsessed with TMarts throwing motion. Luke is a baller and is 1-0!!

Luke puts the sideline throws in a position where the receiver can catch it and make a move. Adrian puts it where the receiver either can't catch it or is immediately blasted upon catching the ball.

I agree he throws the quick out passes better. AM looks really tentative on the out passes.

Luke has the skills to run the 1990‘s teams, but unless we run a similar offense I don’t see him thriving. Like Frazier and Frost he is a running back playing QB. Frost needs to adjust his offense, not dump Luke.
