mostly a place for students? Ridden by several times lately and it seems a little ghetto. I lived there (College Station then) in the early 90s and it was one of the best in town.

College station was the place in the early 90s. Watch some rotc guys rappel from the 3rd floor balcony one night. Among many other party shenanigans..
Was even better in late 80s. True definition of college life, away from parents, making just good enough grades to keep mom and pops happy and your *** in school. Fun was had by all.
