Yesterday, on a crisp late January morning in Alaska a Moose feasts upon a breakfast of frosted tree limbs.

Majestic Magical M<irage Magnified Mountains have to be a good omen for the year ahead as well!

Located some 80 miles distant from the Anchorage Shore of Cook Inlet, the distant Alaska Range with its Active Mt Spurr Volcano appears larger than life due to refracted light creating the illusion of mammoth mountains.

In these videos from yesterday afternoon witness this Superior Mirage otherwise known as a Fata Morgana.
