I watched an edited 23 min replay of the Iowa Michigan game on YouTube. I don't know how we can beat these guys tonight. Their offense is ridiculous. I'm hoping our defensive pressure disrupts everything they do but they looked totally dif from last year.

Will just enjoy this game tonight after winning the had-to-have them games last week at home. We now have some wiggle room - hopefully we find a way.
Agreed. The way the Big Ten is going this year, the pressure is on the home teams to hold serve. Would love to see Rutgers play nice and loose tonight.. while playing smothering D.

Very little defense was played in that game. Your statement “I don’t know how we can beat these guys tonight “ is ridiculous because the Answer is clear as day. Play defense like we have been playing and like they have not seen all year, then watch as those shots you saw raining down last Friday against Michigan , are not going in. We are more athletic and more physical than most teams and that is how we win.

Michigan has no post defense. Not sure how we can learn much from watching them play Iowa. We are polar opposites of Michigan.

Michigan’s Teske and backup centers played Garza with no help defense (or very little) compared to Johnson tonight with a little more help defense. We will do better defensively tonight.

I like Howard but I question his cyber metrics he is bringing from the NBA which says don’t double team and limit the 3 pt shot/3 pt shooting percentage. There are not as many good 3pt shooters in college as the NBA

I don't see the difference between Minnesota and Iowa. One great big man, and a couple 3 point shooters. Same game plan will beat those bums. Just have to execute and keep the crowd out of it.
Agreed. All these teams live by and die by the Three.

I've gotta get them to put the Big Ten network on at the bowling alley.. never once seen it on there.

I think Iowa might be our worst matchup in the BIG10.
I think Rutgers is the worst matchup for Iowa. We matchup very very well against them. We have Myles to bang with Garza inside and Myles has those long arms. Mathis young on Fredrick. They have dominated opposing guards all season. Caleb's length to bother Weiscamp.

What position do we not matchup well at? Enlighten me bc I see the polar opposite

I don't know if we are going to win, but WE ARE WAY OVERRATING IOWA.

This is a team with talent, but not the strongest team mentally.

I can list 5-6 teams that quite honestly I'd rather not play over Iowa.

Iowa has won its last seven home games, averaging 82 ppg. Rutgers has limited opponents to an average of 59 ppg this season. I think the Hawkeyes score closer to 59 tonight.

I am curious who we will put on Weiskamp when Caleb is not on the floor. That is a critical role. Yeboah or Harper, maybe? Geo? He is probably too tall for Mathis or Young.

I have a feeling that this game isn’t going to be close. I just can’t decide who I feel is going to win.

Definitely too tall for Young. I was thinking about this as well. Mathis possibly especially if hes on the court with Young. If its Harper than who is at the 4? Yeboah or Harper could both D him up. Might even see Paul on him. Really like the Caleb matchup on him though. I think he can smother Weiskamp

I think it will be close either way OR Iowa will win big. Not likely that RU will win big.
