Making comments on all the calls the AD is getting of interested coaches. I am sure there are but it sounded odd that he is trying to sell the situation. It’s a blue blood with tons of talent, why does he see need to do that

the hire will have the perception of a letdown, even if in reality its solid.
i get that riley looks that he ran scared, but is this a legit critique of even bigger 'super conferences'...are you really gonna get that many opportunities to win it?
so much competition.
oh, money's great, but the conference will also protect its bellcows, even moreso.
