Is Antifa a 'hate' group?

They're a fascist group because they do not believe in free speech and will use violence to enforce their view. Their "hate" is anyone that has an opinion that differs from their own.
I've always thought they were more of an anarchy group masquerading as something else.
Quick question, what are the beliefs of the people that organized the lawful protest for Charlottesville? Do you even know?
If you truly believe that....why do you continue to fervently defend the racist klan leader and political opportunist Bobby Byrd? Is it because he got some pork for WV?
I don't really care what their beliefs are. Do they have the right? Sure. Have at it. It'll never be something I or any correct thinking American should support. The symbols they use are abhorrent reminders of the darkest times of our country and of the world. They can choose to celebrate them in a shock jock manner. I can choose to be disgusted by them.
Opie, did you not define the two sides doing battle yesterday? Each side having hate for the other. I will repeat, I got in at the middle and could not determine sides. I did not see the beginning when they were choosing sides. Which side was right and which was wrong? Absolute or by degrees?
I could distinguish the flags, but that did not tell me much about the cause of the confrontation. Seemed like those engaged were really enjoying themselves. The flag bearers were acting as cheerleaders to keep the action stirring.
The leaders don't carry "symbols". In fact there are photos of antifa pulling out Swastika's and taking photos and then claiming to be white "supremacists". The actual white "supremacists" in the Alt Reich vs the entire Alt Right/New right if minimal. And when are you gonna learn, this isn't about what you "believe/think". History doesn't care about your feelings and reality will march right over you.
Counteroprotestors to white nationalists aren't necessarily antifa. I have no idea if the counterprotestors in C-ville were antifa. I don't want to tar all Left protestors with the antifa label. That's not fair or accurate.
But there is a segment on the Left that are antifa and part of their deal is violently suppressing those that disagree with them. Maybe they're restricted to Berkeley. I don't know.
So none of the the "victims" were carrying/wearing confederate flags or swastikas?
You mean the one where the protestors were asked to leave because they violated the permit that required PEACEABLE ASSEMBLY?
Or the one where a guy drove his vehicle over multiple people, killing one young lady?
That lawful protest?
