if he’s taking the next year off, add him to our potential shortlist if we move on from Pike after this coming season

Ben McCollum should be in very high demand from both Iowa and Indiana - as well as Minnesota

We could have had him longtime ago if TP just fired Fred Hill in March

Wow. I think that’s 3 seasons removed from a B1G title, and if they hadn’t lost their big man they would have been pretty good. They don’t mess around.

Where'd you get that from?? I heard otherwise .
Fran was at Siena. SHU interviewed but felt he was too hot headed and they were coming off of Gonzo embarrassment. Siena to Rutgers a natural progression. If Fran was interested in SHU he would be interested in RU.

Iowa fired Lickliter March 15 and hired Fran on March 29. Rutgers played its final game March 9. Everyone wanted Fred Hill out. TP couldn't fundraise out of a paper bag to fire him.

Unless TP was a dope that he didn't have Fran on shortlist this would have happened and Rice would have never been hired here and TP might still be AD here

No. I can’t think of any Big10 team, not a single one, that hands out egregiously undeserved raises and extensions to football and basketball coaches like it were with unlimited Monopoly money.

Coaches who are far more successful than ours get never get fired every year.

In fact, Rutgers exacts more accountability from its two high profile coaches than any other university in the country, nevermind just the conference,

Big things in store !!! The future will dazzle with our HOF coaches leading the charge.

Rutgers fans are so accepting of mediocrity because they were abused by horrific hoops and football programs for 40 years. They think 500 seasons for hoops and football are high watermarks

And if you have 1 or 2 very good seasons mixed in there, it’s like we won the National Championship. We need to start measuring our revenue sports against other B1G teams and large universities that we want to become instead of comparing ourselves to Eddie Jordan’s miserable years coaching here.

Man you're a terrible fan. You constantly go out of your way to bash R "Rutgers fans are so accepting....". Aren't you one?? You say you're a RU fan,, you're far from it. Now you're agreeing with Shellby who everyone suspects is an anti RU troll. You're a waste,. Show me the receipts ,as you say , where you've said anything good about RU--- why do you get pleasure attacking RU ?? If we're so bad,so terrible in your eyes just leave the " fold" who needs you??

As usual you're making assumptions. You really know noone in power at RU , who wants to talk to a mslcontent like yourself. Again you know nothing about what was going on,

Crazy thing it was suggested by some fans to hire Fran off his success at Siena . But pernetti and many fans wanted to stick with a guy by the name of Fred hill jr.
The ineptitude . You can’t make it up !

We need energy, intensity, and accountability either from our current staff or a new staff.
