The gold looked great for the women's victory over Nebraska yesterday. But what's with a "white out" anyway? That's a Penn State football thing.
It'll be cool. Here's something to get everyone jacked up for the game!!

We’re in. There’s very few weekends the kids don’t have sports and this is one of them

At least the Vikings' official colors are purple, white, and gold. Iowa's are still just black and gold. No white, so there's that.

I think it's only because we have white home jerseys. Just think of it as a throwback game to the 80s and 90s where everyone wore white anyway.

White home uniforms. So they want everybody to where white would be my guess.
Sure. Makes some sense, I guess, but it seems that sports were doing fine before all these made-up "special" dress code things. The all gold is good. The stripes are great. But that's plenty. I mean if you ate a Carver cone every day, it wouldn't be long before you'd hate soft serve. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. IMHO, of course.

Here's hoping there will be a whole hell a lot less of this among the crowd this weekend and every other home game from here on out ......

This actually occurs far less than people claim it does. Same with fans who knit or read a book during games.

So over the dress up games. Where what you want, fill the place and be loud
It could be worse. I remember about a decade ago playing Wisconsin and game was a black out. Game around. Veterans Day and handed out red white and blue Pom poms by section. Black made it so couldn’t see blue and looked like crowd waving white and red poms for Wisconsin.

Knitting and reading happens less now but there is still some which is infinitely more than zero... which is what the number should be.

Hundreds of tickets (about 250-300) left. Why not drop the price for the worst tickets we have?

Iowa absolutely should drop the price significantly for the many bad seats at Carver . . . high and behind the baskets, for example. Ben wants to fill the place with loud fans. Help him out. Make tickets affordable, especially the nosebleeds. Empty seats don't buy soft serve or beer or any other concessions, nor do they make a peep. Until men's basketball is a thing again, the university needs to support Ben and do all it can to get enthusiastic fans a chance to make their presence felt. C'mon, man, it ain't that difficult.

If they were $20-25 a pop, I would be there with 4. At least 2 ice cream cones and a popcorn.

There is $80-100 (plus fees) and another $25 in concessions.

Instead it is $160-200 which prices me out. I'll save money for midweek games which is where they need more of the local crowd.

What's worse is nobody is still buying any of these seats so instead of my $125 they are getting zero and have nobody in the seats.
