Be interesting to see the split on carries between Washington and Williams.
I think they need to get Ries more reps. That kid stood out to me.
He has already attained quasi-legend status thanks to his 630 lb. squat this offseason, a new Iowa record. The next great Iowa MLB?
I wonder if he’s still missing his reads. Hopefully, they will at least use him in blitz packages. He just looks more powerful than other players. He reminds me of Bob in that regard.
He’s not missing his reads. He just hasn’t beaten out the guys in front of him yet. He will get his opportunities though. It’s going to be tough to keep him on the sidelines.
Honestly, don't know if Jaz was in the dog house for the first game, and he garnered those second team reps, but wow that kids running style is impressive. I don't know if he is putting the ball on the ground, but I would like to see him get a lot more carries.
