Iowa was awarded with Penn State as co champions for the dual season. They did not wrestle any of the top three teams Penn State, Michigan or Ohio State. They are very good but seemed to dodge the powers.

Meaningless cause b10 doesn't wrestle everyone. Iowa didn't dodge, the b10 sets the schedule and it rotates from year to year.

I think we will find that Iowa is deserving of this meaningless accolade on Sunday.This will be a close match with an upset or two either way making the difference. As I have reiterated on this board many times I dislike Iowa but that does not mean I don't have respect for their wrestlers and their history. When the Iowa fans booed J.J. McGrew when his won his NCAA championship in Carver Hawkeye arena my dislike for some of their fans grew immediately but I have since met many knowledgeable and reasonable fans from there so it is now a mixed emotion.
