Beat Gonzaga and Iowa the weakest defensive teams and let their athleticism shine. Almost beat UNC as that went to the wire. Struggled with defensive teams Michigan , Nebraska , Maryland and we had our best defensive effort of the year holding Bilihbo to 0-7 shooting. Michigan rained ridiculous 3’s to beat them and played some defense. Maryland , Nebraska and Rutgers losses coincided with their offensive slump after Cronin called them out.

Miss Bill Walton as he would have had great stories about UCLA playing BigTen teams in the past. Wooden, after all, was from Indiana and played at Purdue.
