Can't think of another player given the circumstances he's been given to start an NFL career. He's not been perfect but none of us have. I'll still root for him and support him to do better.

New York was the last place Geno needed to start his NFL career. The Jets are one of the most dysfunctional franchises in football (and the author of the linked article does a good job of explaining all the Giants' problems).

He may never be more than a QB2 for the rest of his career, but I wouldn't mind seeing him go to a competent franchise where he's got a decent team around him.

Finally! Someone is actually fair to Geno. The vitriol directed against him over the years has been ridiculous. Kudos to the writer for finally pointing out some objective facts..
