Yes. We actually made the NCAA Tourney at 18-12 and finished the year 18-13. I think we finished 12-4 in the SEC too. We finished behind 14-2 Tennessee though. We beat Vandy that season in Rupp Arena in Double OT and then they beat the crap out of us in Nashville for revenge..93-52, I'm pretty sure. They had Jermaine Beal, Festus Ezeli, AJ Ogilvy, Shan Foster, ect....we had Patterson, Meeks, Joe Crawford, and Ramel Bradley.

Oats got quad 1 road loss. Literally 0 impact on NCAAT resume. If you didn't notice, we just had a Quad 3 loss (by more points). Losing to a top 10 team on the road is not embarrassing. Losing to the NET #80 at home is embarrassing, and more than that, it's a stain on the resume for an at large bid.

At this point, none of that stuff matters. We just have to try to get better and do something second half of the year.
I would say it does matter because this team ain't getting an AQ bid by winning the SECT. It's not going to happen. What most affects NCAAT seeding and selection are Q1 wins and Q3/Q4 losses. We're going to need all the help we can get so we need the home wins against the bottom feeders. This was a disastrous game to blow.
I agree with you we need to look forward and get better. the coaching staff gives no confidence that it will happen, however.

Uk fans need to skip the sect. We have to send a message. Rupp was awful tonight. They cheered but never got loud and when mo locked up the game they booed the team off the floor
If as a UK fan you don’t already have tickets to the SECT and buy them you deserve the inevitable bad experience you will have.
Vandy, another second year coach trending up while UK is trending down. I could name about ten second year coaches killing it. Even Jai Lucus at Miami is 12-2. The Virginia coach has his team ranked. Musselman hasn’t been terrible, Cal, May, Kelsey.
