In the glass half full category, Dre seems to have started the season better this year. More aggressive on the offensive end, tsken some good charges on D, and fewer dumb fouls.

More glass half full takes from UALR : Ray & Taplin both broke out of their 3 point shooting & overall scoring slumps. We need both of them to keep that trend going.
For a couple of minutes I would love to see a Nolan style full court 1-3-1 type press from our guys with Swannegan on the back end. The current man to man press eats the clock but not much else. These guys have the pressing ability of Pressey, Anderson, Coley and Heard.....give them a shot at this. Causing turnovers and getting easy baskets win games.

Crowd sat on its butt on Saturday. No energy.

I like II's idea of making better use of the press considering our athleticism. Our limited press helped turn around the Ohio game and Indiana State game. It would be interesting to see us try it earlier if we hit a dry spell with scoring to get an easy basket. At home of course would be ideal.
Our depth is where this could become really effective as well. We've got like 7 guards who play and if Haith rotated them through correctly, the press could be really devastating.
An improvement over this point in the season vs. last season. Our only losses this year are to 2 undefeated teams and both who are receiving votes in the AP Poll. Now, let's take care of business tonight and Saturday.
