How much political capital did he use up on this nonsense? That big beautiful bill still needs passed. The one that cuts spending. That is the only thing that matters.

Not sure if this story has any legs or not but probably a waste of time unless the DOJ is going to investigate. Smells like nonsense and dirty politics until proven otherwise.
