...under direct orders from my cardiologist, lol. This hurts and it hurts bad. I want to break stuff. Like really smash some **** up. Horrible no-call at the end on Harrar (and 11-4 fouls in the 2nd half is just not right) and some odd substitutions (Duke? really?), but then again, we came back from down 21 to take a 2 point lead - and it could've been 4 if Yeboah had just paid attention on that layup - which was just an amazing run. If only we could play better more of the game. And JY should've had the ball in his hands at the end of the game, given that PSU had nobody who could stop him off the dribble.

We're all tired of moral victories. I get that. But please show up and be loud for MD, as we know this team is capable of beating anyone, especially at the RAC. Would be epic to win this one and then win at Purdue on the road, finally, to punch our ticket. It can happen. Until it doesn't. And maybe I'm a pollyanna, but this is still so, so, so, so, so much better than the last 15 years and most of the last 29. C'mon guys, just do it.

I'm sorry I actually didn't change the channel in the first half as planned. Would have been less nauseating.

Down 51-50 at the 10 minute mark. Doucoure enters game, and three minutes later we’re down 57-50.

WHY IN GOD’S NAME WAS DOUCOURE IN THE GAME AT THIS CRITICAL MOMENT?!?!

At the time, Carter and Johnson only had one foul apiece. And I don’t think Carter played at all in the 2nd half (or maybe just in the beginning). So why, oh why, does Pike put Doucoure in the game?!!! Was Carter injured?

Douc is bad overall but Carter was giving us nothing tonight. Him and Johnson were getting eaten alive on the boards and caught in some bad positioning. Luckily Johnson woke up a bit in the 2nd half.

Agree we have to find a way to get Young or Geo the ball last possession....Penn State had no answer for Young he was dribbling at will around them all game.

Doucoure’s BPM is like -100 and it may have gotten worse. He cannot play 1 minute in a division 1 game and yet he plays.

Sorry but this one's on Pike with that asinine lineup he put in when we got it to 1 and psu reeling. The lead quickly got back to 10 and it was a scratch and claw till the end to take the lead for the 1st time with under 1 min. left. He let psu get it's feet back under them and played that dipsh*t lineup way too long.

C'mon Shaq had 5/2 at least, so no reason to not put him in; Myles had his best half in a long time, which is at least encouraging, finishing with 8/11 - he has to play well for us to have a chance against MD...

Im not saying Douc was the right move but Shaq didn’t have a great night. Then again our whole team played atrocious the first half other than maybe Young.

I was shocked after the under 8 timeout that they brought Douc back on the court. Baffling.

Read my post. I already broke my LED TV in the family room.

i don’t know if you are serious by I understand. I was listening to that in my car and I’m amazed I didn’t break a window. Haven’t been that pissed at a sporting event in a long long time, if ever

I am serious. I was so pissed off. And then after the game was over, I saw Dread smiling, as if he got away with one, and I punched the **** out of my LED TV trashing it. See my post.

Im all in for the rest of the year but if we don’t make the tourney I might have to re-evaluate how much emotional energy I put into this ****

this year was unique, because we weren’t expecting this and then the national media hyped us up like crazy. We all gave in and got wrapped up in the emotion ...and then of course the inevitable collapse.

If we use Doucoures minutes with a small ball lineup we would have won this game by 10

Mathis for Doucoures.

Geo, Mc, Mulchay, Young and Mathis or Yeboah.

Also think Pike could have switched to Zone in the first half- just to slow things down...

I thought we'd lose by 25-30 at the end of the first half. Instead I had to wait to heat up my micro wave dinner (Connie is on sabbatical for 2 days)...a d I'm watching the impossible with 1 minute to go ...and we're UP?

Only to lose..

But we didn't give up.

Time to put the pedal to the metal in the next two games...there are no excuses.

Never really done, hence the "lol" but man this one really, really hurt. I almost went out to the game, too - would've been like being at the 3 OT WVU game in 2006, where my son and I and the RU section were just shellshocked afterwards...

Hasn’t done it before, but I think I may side with you here.

I'd be ok with Harper trying to play the 5 for a minute or two and see how he does, as long as we're big everywhere else, plus JY, with the way he was playing, although I think we all agree that Shaq is way better there than Duke, who has regressed to a non-contributor - and Shaq was rested...

Ouch. I've broken a few remotes over the years, but I'm at least a little careful to throw them at the wall and not the TV, lol...

And he took out Young at the same time there’s no reason these guys have to come out they get a rest every 4 minutes!!

that has been the recipe all year.....and it has worked.

Contrary to what a lot of people think I don;t see a ton of talent on this team. Pikiell is doing an outstanding job. I dont fault ANYTHING he did today.

no it hasnt...we have lost 6 of 8...you do realize it works at home...on the road it doesnt...it was a killer here and we all knew, all of us the game thread..it was like this scene
