We are legitimately in the discussion of who can win the B1G regular season title.

It would require an insane finish but we would be 2 games out, over have it off second and with Illini still to play and a good chance everyone gets beat once more.

My feeling is winning out of nearly impossible but if we get a win at Wisconsin, we are in contention.

I don’t want to be That Guy who tells you to slow your roll, but… damn man, slow your roll.

We would literally have to win out — against 6 quad 1 teams (4 on the road) plus a PSU team that always plays us tough — in order to finish first, as it’s likely to take a 15-5 record.

Even the most optimistic of fans would have to admit that the chances of this happening are about 0.0000001%.

I know, I know, “So you’re saying there’s a chance?!”

This team is just not good enough for us to win every game we are supposed to win...too inconsistent

The Silver Lining there however is I knew we were going to pick off some teams that we were expected to lose against. Couldn't pick which ones in either category.

Thats big boy basketball...and exactly where I hoped we would be (minus the ugly losses early)

I love this team I just hope the hole they dug for themselves is not too deep to get out of.

Winning today would be something... the good news with us winning the last two games is that this is super important but it is no longer a must-have win. However if we lose the already ultra thin margin of error becomes even thinner...

And on we go...white knuckle time!!!!

Sorta funny story: Georgia in 2008 went 4-12 in conference play, then made it to the finals of the SEC championship game. The game started at 3:30, with the Selection Show at 6:00. The committee had to prepare two brackets. One for if they won (and got in), one for if they lost. They wound up winning and getting a 14 seed.

Enjoy your half empty dark sky world. Much happier wearing scarlet colored glasses and hoping we win out no matter how unlikely.
