He choose to stay in school. You only get one shot in College Football.

Would of, should of, could of. Tough loss.

He had skills. Ohio State has much more talent, but they need some time to get settled at QB.

Just announced he is having season ending surgery. A terrible loss for the season, great young man on and off the field.
Damn. Never wish that for a guy. It's life changing. Maybe an ankle tweak or sore shoulder right before the Nebraska game but never something that serious...

Hate to see any college player go down with a season ending injury. Hope he makes a complete recovery and is eventually 100%.

Sad. He is a really good running back. Wish him well and hope he fully recovers!!

Call me a softy...but I am hopeful a wealthy alum signs him to a sweetheart NIL deal...
He needs to get his degree and then get that sweetheart deal from an Alum. Even without the injury the odds of him making much coin for any length of time in the NFL were very slim. He's a good but not great back.

I'm not asking anyone to make him a millionaire tomorrow, but I am hopeful an alum appreciates his sacrafice.

School confirmed he is having surgery and out for the season.

And I really thought he was a great back. This will cost them substantially.

He made the right decision to come back.

There were 18 RBs selected in the 2021 NFL draft. Only 4 taken in the 1st 3 rounds.

Anybody not a top 4 round pick is cuttable. Chuba Hubbard was a 4th rounder. Khalil Hebert was a 6th rounder. Both 5'9" or so and same 210 or so frame as Ibrahim. Not lighting fast, but cat-quick.

Those guys are really a dime a dozen in the NFL. Unless he could have run a sub 4.4 for NFL scouts, he made the right decision.

Man what a loss for Minnesota. That guys a horse. Hopefully he considered and acted upon insuring himself. Achilles is a very touchy iffy surgery. I know there's a lot better surgeons that just do sports stuff and there's a big difference between a 20 year old athlete and me. But I had surgery on mine and it's not like it used to be.

Best of luck to him and I hope he heals 110%
