We were out on Hwy 349, driving 14" Precast concrete piles for a new bridge, and the crew just kept on 17in up. Bad crew, combined with a Friday afternoon and 97 degree temperatures, was making for a miserable day. All would've been lost, except that, out of the blue, The Avid Reader comes by and drives the pile to cutoff elevation, simply by head-butting it.</p>

Most miserable year of my life.

My greatest hope is that the earth one day will open up and swallow Potts Camp into the bowels of hell. Today would be good.
