McCabe sucks hes in over his head. Knapper is the best payer in the B12 and should have been starting day 1. Huggins has held him back. He should run this team and get the start. Him and Konate will take us to the title game. McCabe is in over his head. He's not fast and should be playing D2. If Konate was back and Culver was here all year we would we undefeated with Knapper. Dont even play McCabe. He's in over his head. He's not even a D1 player. Huggins hold players back. He's a bad coach. We need a new coach. -304
It's nice to see Knapper coming on. I was skeptical of him throughout most of the season, but he seems to be finding his groove at the right time for us. Not sure why you have it in so bad for McCabe? Knapper the best player in the Big 12? Wow! Let's just worry about him getting better the rest of the season.
Needs to start getting fresh balls lotion and using it daily to keep from getting so Knapper down there.
Knapper is stepping up. I said he lost confidence and that’s on Huggs and staff. He has the ability it’s all mental and confidence. I said all season he is the guy and I’m right again. It’s starting to show. I was worried Huggs had ruined him and that he would just get frustrated and leave with other players. That won’t happen now cause Huggs is having to play Knapper now after screwing him over the first 3 months of season. Huggs needs to build him up. He can help us win. Start Knapper. He’s our best guard.

NovaMountaineer do you think hard work by McCabe and the strength and conditioning staff work can get him bigger, stronger, quicker, faster next year? I hope so. I’m a little concerned now. He looks so overmatched and he’s already turned 20 back on September 3. I know he’s a high character kid that works hard but do you think he’s too physically limited to get physically better. We don’t need to wait 3 years for him to contribute. He needs to be able to step up next year and help us and not be a liability. He’s a major defensive liability.

These valuable minutes Knapper will get will pay off by Big 12 tournament if we get Konate back 100% 2-3 games before Big 12 tourney. Get Beetle 100% and get Konate 100% and go win it. It’s wide open. Texas Tech, Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor are beatable. Culver and Konate will be a handful together. Guards will be better with those 2 monsters down low. The twin towers.
I’m going up to Scotland Prep on Thursday to watch a future PG. Miles McBride coming in next year will be fine. Pride is the kiss of death on anyone....
I noticed on Saturday that McCabe didn't seem to dribble as much as in earlier games.
Too much dribbling is something Huggs has complained about in interviews. Just seems
that McCabe has responded with trying not to do it so much. Our shooting percentage
has gone through the floor. Looks like guys are passing up some open shots.

Bolden is the best guard we have. Knapper will now be #1 in turnovers since Esa is no longer on the team.

I have watched 9? West Virginia games this year and the last few I have noticed that Knapper is probably the best guard to have on the court.
He gives you a foundation with Culver for the next few years.
If anything good came out of this year it is the development of Knapper and Culver.

You would expect that from a freshman.
McCabe doesn't have the potential.
He could get bigger and maybe use his strength but he is slower and weaker than the majority of guards in the Big 12.
His defense is horrible.

He touches the ball every time he is on the court.
So if you look at touches compared to turnovers I am sure his percentage is much lower than other players
Townsvansandt knows a lot. Trust me. He’s one of the better more knowledgeable posters on here. He’s also noticed Knapper is the best guard WVU has and the most talented guard WVU has. Knapper hasn’t had a turnover the last 4 games. He’s already cutting down his turnovers. His defense is the best by far of the guards. Hands down Knapper will be back and better.

Knapper will seize the job easily the last 7 games and already has. He is only a freshmen and younger age wise than McCabe. Knapper had a knee surgery and blood clots all last year. He’s battled that and is going to end up good here.
