I thought Autry was suspended.

There is no confirmed list, but every credible source has indicated Autry is one of the 10 suspended for 8 games.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Just an unrelated 1game suspension.

I'm new here...but saw that Autry had graduated after they released the names of those suspended. I was cautiously relieved since I was thinking the first game might mean it was a one-game suspension. Surely he would not have graduated if he had cheated?

I've always been perplexed as to why an upperclassman would be taking Survey of Chemistry along with a bunch of freshmen and sophomores.

Just another example of how “credible” many of those sources really are

One theory might be that it's known to be an easy A. Lol.

My point is that it's a freshman/soph level class, not a senior level class. It's not surprising that Autry would take it. It's surprising that he wouldn't take it until his senior year.

At this point the four games I want us to be at full strength: Kentucky, @ Auburn, @ Tennessee, @ A&M. In my opinion those are the four outcomes most in question.

If Autry was just a one game suspension, that is huge for us. The run defense was night and day better when he and Lovett were on the field together.

However, if Autry is part of tutorgate and we wasted one of his four games on southern, someone’s *** needs to be chewed.

Disagree - Kentucky, Tennessee, A & M, & Ole Miss. I don't think we can win at Auburn regardless of whether the suspended guys play. We need to be at full strength vs. Ole Miss

I don't get the mindset of anyone who thinks we need to serve suspensions during Auburn, Alabama, or LSU. Jesus Christ, put your best team on the field against your best opponents and maybe good things will happen. We should have no problems beating Ole Miss, Kentucky, or Tennessee with the team we put on the field yesterday.

I'm excited to see how our offense will look against legit SEC defenses. Let's put our best defense out there against those teams and who knows what happens.

For what's worth, ESPN FPI currently gives us a 30.8% chance to beat Auburn and Ole Miss a 23.5% chance to beat us. That will change between now and September 28th.

The best chance of winning the most games this season is to not play the key suspended players against Bama or LSU. That may not be popular, but it's the smart decision.

The coaches should be trying to win the West, no matter how unlikely we might think that is.

I understand trying to win every game against a west opponent but wouldn't everybody be ecstatic if the only 2 games we lost this year were Bama and LSU ? I sure the 17 would.

I mentioned last week that I wasn't sure Autry would make much of an impact --- I'll take that back. He does appear to be a difference maker.

By my count, there were about half a dozen other "non-true freshmen" that played in week 2 but not in week 1. I don't think any of those were considered part of the suspended group so I'm assuming he's not either.

Before the season started I would not have thought that was possible but A&M and Auburn are beatable. We have a shot at a special season if we can stay healthy.

The guy I miss the most on defense is that Gay guy at linebacker. #10 is missing too many tackles, not that there is anything wrong with that (unless you are an NFL scout).

I hope this is correct, however I have heard he was part of the 10. Now, maybe the ruling isn't affecting Lee in the same way. But at this point, it's very disappointing to think that we wasted lee against Southern. We could use him this weekend, but using in 2 of our 4 nonconferences game is not good.

I think we have to play Autry vs KSU and UK so that only gives us 1 game left. I would probably choose AU.
