I'm no Dallas fan, but that reminded me a whole lot of when back about 10 years ago or so, they'd play Julius Jones for about 2 1/2 quarters, & then in came 220-5 lb. Marion Barber, fresh as a newly picked peach, running over people & breaking arm tackles right & left. It was awfully potent back then & it didn't look too shabby Saturday either.

It speaks well for our depth at running backs that we have enough good talent to save him until the 4th quarter.

It may have even been better for Trey. The announcer mentioned that he seemed to be chomping at the bit, to get in the game. When he got there, he busted his butt to make it count, and show his Stuff! Show me a team with a Better Bench!

Trey Sermon is a beast. Unleashing him in the 4th quarter against the gassed Baylor defense was borderline unconstitutional. It's cruel and unusual punishment. Coach Riley clearly has some sadistic tendencies.
Respectfully, the Mike Stoops we've come to know over the years made his return Saturday night. No punishment is cruel and unusual if it's necessary. But your point is well taken.
