I just want to know what the people think that kept saying all of last year that you need time to see improvement in offense? Just one game of Leach and **** we have a real offensive guru. I wonder if they understand what a real offensive savant looks like now.

QB lives matter. Costello is really, really good. It was something to see THAT many really catchable balls thrown at MSU. That being said, no way he is at MSU if the Pirate wasn't. Fun day, I'll learn to like not having a running game if that keeps up.

KJ is very good but very good coaches like Leach come in and you see immediate improvement. Coaching staff that knows what they are doing. I've never seen a group of receivers take this large of step forward. Having a great qb helps but having Leach's staff makes a huge difference. Coaches that understand how to develop, discipline, teach and how to call plays in game also that understand how to move the ball down field. Something I notice me several times today is how fast we got the call out and how spread out all over the field we were and we were knocking people back when we hit them

So you think Fitz could have slung it like Costello did today? Catchable balls matter.

I'm not saying he could but I also don't think KJ on a moorhead team would have had today's results not even close. Today exposed just how much of **** coach Moorhead was. You really are dumb if you can't see that

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt last year given that it was only his second year. The Louisiana game gave me serious concerns. Kansas State was a disaster too. It was the Auburn disaster of a game where I finally started to see the writing on the wall. After the Tennessee game I was finally done with him. I mean in reality red flags popped up vs Kentucky in 2018. And really red flags popped up vs Florida that year. I mean he was supposed to be This offensive minded genius and yet we couldn’t even score more than 6 damn points. Embarrassing. The fact that his offense never really clicked in two years tells you all you need to know about his coaching. He was hired to be an offensive minded coach and his offense looked terrible for two years.

Looking back on that 2018 team... any decent coach would have probably won at least 10 games, and maybe a bowl while looking a Hell of a lot better doing it. He walked into what was a fantastic situation and took a few steps back instead of forward. That’s never a great sign.

Granted it’s only been one game, but a ML coached team is a breath of fresh air for sure. Seems like the a night and day difference.

Doubtful, in the playoff talk though. Also Arnett > Shoop. That unit made Shoop look good. He was still TN Shoop

Shoop led that defense to number one in the nation. What the 17 else could he have done to make you think he’s capable? Jesus Christ.

I really don't think you understand how much talent was on that 2018 team. A JV coach from Bouge Chitto could've taken that D to number 1. What did Shoop's D do in 2019? I said the whole time Shoop was overrated. Some on here actually wanted him to be our HC. Good Lord.
