...their fans actually have some real spirit. Nothing like the Pitt fans who cry to the mods all the time.

keep the smack talk coming guys...

And back at you. The WVU game is my favorite of the year. You guy's can dish it out. It reminds me of the old day Rival sites. Fans going after each other, then letting the respective teams prove it on the field.

Gotta say, you guys do have a thin skin, though. One of your posters put an absolutely misleading statement on your board and I called him out. Because I used the word "dumbass" they world went crazy...gheez, relax Sooners....

Every fan base has their thin skinned fans. It is not necessarily a reflection of their fan base as a whole. It has been my experience that OU has great fans and they can dish it out and take it.

It isn't 'what' you called him. It's 'who' you said it to. He posted a minute later that he got it wrong. Rather than go back and delete or edit, he humbly chose to add another post to say that he got the score wrong. It was after that when you did your dandy work. You could have called 10,000 other posters a dumbass and nobody would have noticed, but you happened to pick one of the top guys. With that kind of luck, you should be playing the lottery.

Sooners are hanging their hat on a less than marquee victory against a perennial weak sister from the SEC East. They crumbled like ginger snaps last week against Florida.

I gotta say, I did not see him recant...not saying he didn't, but I sure didn't see it. Either way, like I said, thin skin over there. What the hell, so the "top posters" are above reproach? whatever...it was strong, but we were talking a little smack, it is supposed to be fun.

I like Oklahoma because we get to play them every year now that we're in the Big 12, not every 5 or 10 years in a bowl. Same with Texas. Plus the $30 million annual payout is much better than the $9.9 million top payout from the Big East.
I think the matchup between the Oklahoma offense and the Octopus WVU defense may be the key to the game. If the Sooners score 17 points or less, then WVU wins. If Oklahoma pulls a Tavon, then WVU is toast. Maybe WVU should come out with every ballcarrier wearing a Tavon mask. That should reignite nightmares for the Sooners.
Or just "572" on every uniform, as in all-purpose yards by Tavon Austin that night.

M ighty defense throttled Georgia Southern, 44-0

O utstanding defense obliterated Liberty, 41-17

U nilaterally decimated Maryland, 45-6, on defense and offense

I love playing OU because it's turning into a very good football game every year.

I don't know if you caught it ... but there was an OU player at the B12 media day (an OL I think) who talked about how big the WV win was to them last year. OU may have won each game against us. But each team really has the other's attention in this match-up.

I live and work in Oklahoma City (only 20 miles north of Norman). I just want to go into work on Monday and gloat a little. I've been talking smack all week.

...and yes, I will be at the game tomorrow! Let's Go...!
