I like this basketball team

I know some of this has been addressed on different threads, but I wanted to offer my take. I can't get over how well Dee Bost is playing. He had, I think, one turnover Saturday? In addition to the points and good defense he's playing, as a ball handler alone I agree with a poster from yesterday who said he has a chance to be our best ever point guard. Bullard's freshman year I don't recall him getting many minutes and Zim was out of control for two years. Chucky Evans was a liability on D. Bost looks like a veteran out there. I think his control and ability to get the offense moving is making the whole team better. If nothing else, these guys are all involved on offense and they seem to enjoy playing together more than at any time during the Gordon/Rhodes era. And they damn sure hustle more. I swear, there were times the last three years when I almost didn't like our team other than for the colors on the uniform. And the one true star, Varnado, doesn't seem to have the ego issues our previous all-conference guys did. They aren't perfect. We need another big man. But this team reminds me personality wise, if not by playing style, of the old Bowers/Zim teams. I hope they can get hot enough for the dance, but even if its the NIT this year, I look forward to watching them for the next couple of years.
