They took something that was great and everyone loved, then ruined it, but insist on telling me that it's better than the old product!

I guess at some point I'll pony up the 11 bucks a month --I do want to support the site-- but I just need to get over myself first.

Also willing to guess that traffic --across the Rivals platform-- is way down compared to this time last year

It's roughly the same. There are a few key changes they made I don't like. You can't "ignore" certain obnoxious posters anymore, you can't select or highlight only a portion of a post you want to quote back (it quotes the whole post, then you have to self edit) and the historical content lists or displays differently when you do a deep dive search. The information is there, it just displays differently and sometimes is difficult to find.

Other than that, I think overall it's better. Navigation isn't as seamless as the old system, but there is better content...especially for other teams. It's easier to post links and memes...and it navigates easier on the phone when posting.

This is still the best place to keep up with information on the team, recruiting, schedules etc. It's worth 12 bucks a month if you're passionate about our guys.

Go beyond the UI and look at the amount of traffic on the boards. On game days, it was fun to hang out on the MMB and post about the game and compliment HCNB on what a great job he was doing...and now..blah.

It still shows the numbers of views and responses in any thread. The game day comments are usually under just one thread now, so I don't see any difference there. Can't say if the traffic is the same, some folks I used to read often I don't see anymore, but that happens whenever there's a change. Some people just get used to a certain system and when it changes they don't want to learn something new all over again, especially us "seasoned citizens"
