I honestly have no idea where Herd fans vacation, but assume they do hit the Myrtle Beach scene, and/or Outer Banks area. Personally, if I'm going to hit up a beach, I'm heading to my old stomping grounds of PCB or Destin, FL. At my age, I prefer more laid back destinations, stuff like Adams County, PA, Holmes County, OH, or Jefferson County, IN (Madison). Won't be long until I'm headed to a permanent location to retire. Of course, the wife will dictate that, but I would prefer something within reasonable walking distance to a neighborhood bar. Maybe Marietta, Ohio would suffice, or something a little more country like Monroe County, WV or even up in the Elkins area.
If you took the difference between where WVU thinks it is and where they actually are concerning those two metrics....the distance could not calculated!
Lost Wages for me ...but can't speak for everybody! Madison is a cool little town, so is Marietta.

I know I would never move back to Fayette County. Fayetteville is a much smaller version of San Francisco, and the entire UKV area is nothing but mostly pure white trash. Couldn't believe how bad it was in Montgomery, and even disgustingly bad in Gauley Bridge. An area like that is prime for being something incredibly nice, but the pillbillies have overrun that entire area, and it's one of the worst places in West Virginia I've ever seen, and that includes a lot of places in the old, once booming Southern West Virginia coal towns. Once WV Tech pulled out, the place literally went to hell.
