Agree. It’s just virtue signaling. Doesn’t actually accomplish anything. I love Clemson football but tbh I can take it or leave it until all this garbage is behind us. I don’t need a 19 year old’s opinion on social issues.

Snowflakes triggered by words like love, justice, and unity.

Seen this argument a million times, and it’s a bad one. This is only allowed in response to the current “social issues.” If it had always been an option for our players to wear “equality” or “peace” on their jerseys and people were complaining your point would be valid.

Don't care. Certainly would never not watch or enjoy Clemson football. They could have black power on their jerseys

It is hilarious how they think it accomplishes anything. Some Clemson fan sitting on their couch isn't gonna be like "you know what, after not believing in equality, peace, or justice. I now agree with those fundamental principles. Thanks Clemson football."

I guess I don't understand why it would bother anyone

No, you're just a ****ing snowflake.

Typical response when you have nothing to contribute to the discussion.

I fully support treating everyone the same. Beyond that I’m not gonna get in an argument with someone who uses the word snowflake. Grow up.

It bothers people bc the whole point of having a placard on your jersey is to identify the player. I guarantee no player would give up their number to be replaced by “peace” or whatever other message you choose. I just wanna see who made the damn play without having an advertisement of anyone’s beliefs. It’s ridiculous and will be the standard from here on out.

Am I bothered by the words? No. Annoyed? Yes because I dislike virtue signaling and I'd be more supportive if there were actual injustices and oppression like some want you to believe. Social justice is rebranded marxism.

Seriously? Lol. Dumb. Head in sand. More to world than your street.

See...Jesus would be ashamed of our players.

It's funny.. I see the players looking at our redneck fan base and think WTF is wrong with them..

Then I see our fans looking at the players and saying just shut up and play football..

Both sides are both right and wrong and that's where we as a community need to find a middle ground.

It’s amazing to me how triggered people get by th

I thought as long as it wasn’t “black lives matter” it was all good?

I don’t mind the movement of Equality but the organization Equality is a Marxist terrorist group. I don’t know why the movement wouldn’t move away from the organization.

No. The rednecks saying shut up and play football are wrong. That's it.
