(Sort of.) I was just thinking, if some other Big Ten Teams like Minnesota had played a better strength of schedule, their rip's would be higher and more Big Ten teams would be dancing. At least RU went out and played the tough schedule. Not to say we should have won at least 2 or 3 league games that we lost, but next year the league needs to beef up the out of conference. If Creme is correct, only 5 league teams get in.

True. Which is amazing, because I've been following this stuff for years, and early on the Big Ten (back when it was 11 teams) was one of the early proponents of beefing up their OOC schedule. Unfortunately, they tended to lose a lot of the OOC games they scheduled.

It is also interesting that when the SEC teams beat up each other, or apparently the PAC teams beat up each other, the committee sees this as a sign of all the "strong" teams in conference. When the B1G teams do it, not so much.

I think Minny gets in..the win over OSU was the biggie and they will want an attraction with Banham

I'm not going to say Minny won't get in (and, honestly, I might prefer it if RPI weren't such a good predictor of who gets in and who doesn't), but right now the NCAA RPI has the Golden Gophers at 80, and the worst RPI to get into the tournament as an at large since 2000 was 67 in 2003. Lately, anything above the low 60s means a WNIT bid.
