The only reason we are in this game is because their line is bad. Not near as bad as the crap we run out there, however

What “scheme” works with a line this horrible?
Our OL was bad in 2023 and 2024 as well. Was that scheme bad too? The OL wasn’t good in 2022. That wasn’t Satterfield or Dana. It could be a scheme problem this year, but that’s secondary to the talent problem and coaching problem.
We haven’t even tried to run the ball. Throw stupid swing passes that everyone complained about under Sat so be fair and criticize Dana as well. This team is a joke and I place it all at Rhule feet. He is allowing this nonsense to go one week after week and all he can do is run his mouth and complain the refs, he’s just a nicer Plano.
We’ve only attempted 7 passes too. We haven’t tried to do anything.
I sincerely see it as scheme.. yes there is a guy on the line that is not playing good, but when 3 rushers are overloading the entire line, left, right or center, it tells me the blocking scheme is too complicated and the line is way too used to stepping back on the snap, and not actually attacking the line of scrimmage. This is not the NFL. A change in scheme would allow us to run the ball and consequently pass the ball with a lot better efficiency.

Bad offensive scheme? No. The fact is Dana knows he can’t run even 20% of his offense due to how horrible the line is and that we don’t have a difference maker running back.

This is bad on so many levels. I knew the wind would play a role in the kicking/passing games but our inability to run is what will do us in. What did the coach Denny Green say about an opponent, "they are we we thought they were". We better show some improvement the second half or we may not win this game and if that happens look out.

The screen we did complete that I remember, went for a minimum of 1/2 of what it should had because our line is so unathletic they couldn't pick a couple guys up.

I don’t disagree that adjusting the scheme might help. But that is secondary to the fact that the OL room is devoid of talent and coaching.
