Hypothetical AAC-A10 matchup

Interesting idea. Would an AAC-A10 matchup be preferable to a matchup with the MWC? PAC-12?

Yes. And the MWC has a basketball challenge with someone, maybe the WCC or MAC. A-10 you get great matchups with VCU, Dayton, Rhode Island, SLU, Richmond, Davidson, etc. You also have the potential for some great regional matchups like UCONN/UMASS, Temple/LaSalle, Cincinnati and Dayton, Us and SLU, Richmond/Memphis, and there are others.

So this is just hypothetical? I think from a tv standpoint, Aresco would try for PAC 12 or something like that.

I would like to see this happen. Realistically we're not playing the PAC-12 and the A-10 is a league we're often compared to come tourney time so it would be good to have a good head to head against them. I really think TU's team will be unrecognizable next year and much improved. Lots of people are going to underestimate us.
