I’ve been hard on him for defense all season, so I wanted to call this out. Everyone was right complaining about his bricks, and yes, he’s a walking turnover.

But he was one of the more effective defensive players today. Our defense was at its best with him in. If only he hadn’t looked to shoot on the other side.

I'd say the same about Mag too. There was one stretch where he, Mag, and Jalen defended their asses off in the first half.

Yes - Mag was in at the same time and solid on defense. To be fair, Mag is pretty consistent on defense. It was a positive sign to see Hyatt with a better effort on that side even with him looking like garbage on offense.
