Most likely SP goes to Burns or Shelby in the playoffs, I can assure you that is definitely not the 1A playoffs.. I know Huss had that huge win Friday, but they still have a long way to go, starting this coming Friday with Crest... Don't get too cocky yet... Don't be Mountie LOL
Seems like a good fit, gives Huss good solid power in the backfield.
I agree...McDowell helps out in trying to make up for that loss in senior leadership from last year...

Yea i kept saying that...while McDowell is a beast i think Corry is quicker...Chargers were on him like peanut butter and coach Mc Coy could have benefitted with Corry back there to mix it up..would like to have see him taking wildcat snaps a few times like Crest did...Zo did well taking advantage of soft coverage on Nash on the 5 and 10 yard outs... but wish Huss could have thrown to the middle more....Credit good Crest LB's....also Huss kept attacking short side of field all night and rarely went to the wide...using Corry in the option was or wildcat i think could have taken advantage of the fatigue factor....none the less it was a slugfest....i i feel like the Chargers were just that..CHARGERS...by getting out of the gate fast...i believe emotionally Husss had to shake that KM euphoria and wake the hell up....a little too late tho....Again just a great ballgame...
Wonder if Coach McCoy carried that championship belt through last nights hand shake line saying "this is what happens when you actually have to play somebody" like he did last week?????

Thanks bro. I'm just happy for the boys and Eddins, lots of people have doubted them, including myself especially. But that game last night had a old Charger Swagger to it. Best Friday night football game I've seen in a while.
That’s the dilemma of teams when you have to play Cleveland County teams in back to back weeks. Huss prepared so much/hard for KM in the previous week that it wasn’t ready for a good Crest team the next week. Also Huss beating KM definitely got Crest’s full attention too.
Consistency is still in question. Ironically it's the inconsistency on offense that helped them beat Huss because that's hard to prepare for. If you can make a workable formula out of that, then it will be hard for every team to prepare for and you have something. I think Barnes was a master at that, looking consistent but still being unpredictable.
That pitch and dive stuff ate up clock and got yards while they had a chance to take the lead, but if you go back to that predictable offensive style in the playoffs basketball season will greet you after the 2nd or 3rd rounds.
