Huskers tailgates at CU

Hey guys,

Long time follower and first time poster here... my wife and I, as well as my in laws will be heading to Boulder for the CU game.

I've been trying to find info on tailgating but haven't had much luck except for the blur party tailgate, which is a mile from the stadium and is expensive.

Does anyone know where alumni associations or other huskers will be tailgating?

The link below has the alumni association details. I went to the event they held in Michigan last year and it was a really good time. I think the Coloradans for Nebraska are hosting the Blur parties you noted, but I am guessing they will be doing more than that, but I don't have any details unfortunately.

If you go to the Friday night event at Blake Street Tavern, allow plenty of time to get there. Friday evening is the worst time to try to get in and out of downtown Denver, as traffic is a mess.

My friends and I use to always go to the Harvest House for pregame fun. Don't know if that is still a viable spot, but it use to be packed with Husker fans. I can remember going to a game in the eighties with my Denver born and raised cousin. She asked me how we were ever going to find my friends in that big of crowd. I said just look for the craziest people and that will be them. Not a minute passed by when I saw a goofy guy with a duck decoy on his head. There they were. I haven't been back to Boulder since the 1999 game (hard to believe it has been 20 years), but we always had a great time at the Harvest House.
