Something just does click with this team. I know a lot of injuries and lineup changes, but man they just aren’t a great team. If they survive tonight I doubt they go much further. Something with the chemistry is off and there isn’t a force out there that dominates.

Because I said that hello Natty.

No you're right. Don't know if Knuckles was that important or what, but their energy etc just isn't what it needs to be.
Damn good team, but would surprised if they made final 4.

Huskers win 3-1 over Kansas. It's a crime against everything good that match wasn't broadcast on something better than ESPN+. The 4th set was a back & forth battle royale. Huskers ended up taking the 4th 26-24.

Anyone know why the NCAA banned slow motion replays? Seems pretty absurd and abusive towards accountability.

We seem to set Allick well in the middle but seem to miss Hord a lot. If they clean that up it’ll be better. Batenhorst needs to play a lot better and Annie Evans should not see the floor

Passing and setting (1 injury and several illnesses) are keys to consistency and success. Passing often gets overlooked by the casual fan that mostly notices the set and hit. Staying in system makes the timing/offense run. You can think of the pass as a set to the setter. If the setter gets pulled behind the 10' line or your DS is bump setting an OH, you are statistically looking at an uphill battle.

This. We really got caught without a stud setter this year. Orr did not come back from her knee injury or whatever is her problem. Cook went to the 2 setter O which requires many more subs verses a single setter. We have the power in the middle and outside and our defense is excellent overall but passing and setting are shaky at times depending on the rotation. Losing Knuckles was huge. We also played without Nicklin tonight. Annie is a very good setter, her only problem is she is 5'3" and Cook would love a 6' setter which he has.

Pretty sure Hames played tonight vs Kansas.
And Orr just can't set for **** without getting called for a double hit. Seems like a miss on her evaluation so far.

Orr just isn't good at setting unless she gets a perfect pass. Seems we would be much better off if we had just stuck with Hames as the permanent setter. Hopefully, the freshman coming in earns the job next year.

Yep, Evans is not Nebraska quality. She looks like a deer in the headlights.

Nebraska is 88-0-1 vs Kansas all time. That's incredible, KU has made a final four in volleyball.

Come on now. She’s a walk on. Super hard worker, great teammate. She’s been forced into the lineup and is doing the best she can.
