Have to see how the entire season plays out but yeah... at least with HH we have another threat to run and if we have any redshirts that show promise PLAY 'EM... at least in 3 games. These redshirts aren't freshman anymore, it's mid-season.

I think those redshirts should play in the last 4 games. I’m not sure how it works out for the roads games with not taking full roster but might as well use the 4 game rule.

So help me understand. Some are willing to put a RS freshman in a game whether they are ready or not? So we put our RS QBs in and our RS OL and RS DBs?

Is the goal to just get them experience or win the games?

I really don’t understand the HH stuff from anyone

Gimmicks aren’t what we need to be successful on the ground

Scheme, commitment & discipline are

It’s because are run game is ineffective without some element of a QB run. Dylan is going to have to learn to at least scramble and slide for a first. Doubt that will happen this year with his ankle.

The problem with putting HH in the game is that it sends a big fat signal to the defense that the QB is about to run the ball. And if you put him in and you start having him throw the ball around to try and keep the defense honest then God help us. Don't we remember last year? The dude hits one perfect pass then follows it up with a turd followed by a pic. No thanks. HH is not the answer. A better offensive line and a better offensive line coach is the answer. Everything begins in the trenches. Everything.

it is a myth that you must have a QB run game in order to run the football in the college game.

I'll get blasted for this, but maybe we need a few more lesser talented, but smart *** kicking players on offense? You know, the kind of guys that only have 3 stars to there name. Four star players are usually better as we all know, but not if you are bringing in the wrong ones.

Might as well. Seems we’re already in “building for the future” mode, which is another way of saying that the season is already lost.

The tough part there is then you would be putting your star player on the bench. Or they could always go T formation out of shotgun with two QBs back there. That kind of innovation would never happen at Nebraska but it would be better than just running Dylan out to the sideline as a WR who isn't going to involved in the play.

I watch more NFL than college ball. It's remarkable how many average talented smart players are making teams and formerly highly touted players get cut & are never heard from again.

NU best get it done in a couple weeks when we play UCLA because USC has been a different team at home. 4 games, Utah State 48 points, Wisconsin 38 points, Penn State 30 points, Rutgers 42 points. Anyone think the NU defense is gonna shut them down at this point in the season?

The problem with that is HH is not a natural runner. Fast? Yes! But they keep putting him in the redzone and it never does anything. He's not a Tim Tebow style of player. He needs blockers and green grass.
