Pretty cool to see a Nebraska kid get an offer from North Carolina for hoops. Been to UNC and can't imagine a kid saying no to Roy, to stay home.
Is he the kid that Hoiberg didn’t even bother to recruit?
No. He's not the kid that didn't want Hoiberg to recruit anyone else.Is he the kid that Hoiberg didn’t even bother to recruit?

So how do we stand with Sallis? Decent chance
of landing him?
Sallis was never going to come to Nebraska. But it was fun to dream.
So, are you just saying this or has he made his intentions known?

**** Creighton.Would love for him to give Creighton a solid look but with those offers get out and experience something different
i laughed! He probably got six credit hours just for taking Roy's phone call.
His stats will much better at NU, if he's focusing on the NBA. If just wants the best opportunity to play for a winning team, then yeah hard to turn down traditional powers. I'd play for Hoiberg over Roy definitely.
I think Sallis would start day 1, and the offense would run through him. We've never had a player of his pedigree out of high school, ever. Not so sure of that. We will be loaded with upperclassmen at the guard position in 2021 when Sallis comes in - Banton, McGowens, King, Allen, Stevenson, Tominaga, Lakes. How would Sallis fit in? Would he get enough minutes to be happy?
I don't think he'll go to UNC, as I think he'll get better offers. If Kentucky offers, he'd be foolish not to go there if he wants to focus on the NBA. Coach Cal gets guys to the League quickly, and because they have so many 1-and-dones leave every year, he could likely come in right away and play a lot.
So let me get this right, he shouldn't come to Nebraska because we are "loaded" at the guard position. So are you telling me our guards are better than the guards at North Carolina OR Kentucky??Not so sure of that. ha I agree. pretty good chance he's the best player ever to play at NU the day he sets foot on campus. So let me get this right, he shouldn't come to Nebraska because we are "loaded" at the guard position. So are you telling me our guards are better than the guards at North Carolina OR Kentucky??
