Before 2021, his three-year grades on PFF were between 62.5 to 66.4 playing all his snaps at left guard. He started at tackle to begin 2021, then was injured. He wore #33 in the Fiesta Bowl and lined up at tight end a few times.

Hunter Anthony - Oklahoma State
Stats:
Played in 20 games throughout his career at Oklahoma State.
Offers: Unknown. Anthony only announced his intention to go into the portal on 12/6.
Notable: Anthony is considered to be a mauler and a physical presence at OG. That is precisely what Nebraska is looking for as they sift through all of the possible transfers out there.

Hard to tell. Played as a freshman. Earned a starting spot to begin sophomore year. Then got injured and missed most of the season.

He was a backup this year and is leaving OSU even though there are at least a couple interior OL graduating this year.

Hopefully he will be a strong addition to N

Only time will tell how any of the transfers pan out at a new school with new coaches in a new scheme. The transfer portal has really changed the recruiting game and I think for Nebraska in particular. Always on the look out for some would be transfer stars like our star receiver last year. Too bad he didn't have more eligibility left, he was a good one.

Hunter Anthony was a member of the 2018 OSU recruiting class. Nebraska's 2018 class included these OLs, now all gone from the program:
  • Will Farniok
  • Willie Canty
  • Cameron Jurgens
Our 2019 OL class members have either left the program or underperformed:
  • Desmond Bland
  • Matthew Anderson
  • Michael Lynn
  • Bryce Benhart
  • Jimmy Fritzche
  • Brant Banks
Anthony may not be a plug-and-play all-conference guy, but as I noted earlier, he's among our most mature OL, and that has to count for something, along with his experience playing on a much better offensive line.

If nothing else adding these 2 transfers will shake up the competition. Donovan has his work cut out for him.

No doubt Raiola looked at our game video and said, "Oh ####, I've got to find some dudes". Nice plug in to fill holes left by Austin's recruiting failures.

Raiola harps on “the standard,” and we’ll have to see what he can coax out of the guys he’s got in the room.
What I like is he seems to be more focused on an aggressive style of play. Talk is easy though. We need technique and footwork. The footwork part is #1, and requires a certain amount of base talent.

We have picked up two interior OL guys in Williams and Anthony. I wonder if that means they are OK with our current guys at OT Teddy/Corcoran/Banks/Benhart (If Teddy P is healthy, I am probably good with that group). Also, who plays center? Grad transfer? Nouli? Hixon?

Good news. Hope Raiola gets the OL turned around. It killed me to see teams dominating us at the line of scrimmage.

Sounds like Teddy won’t be ready for spring ball. That hurts for a young guy trying to learn from a new coach.
My bet is on Nouili or Piper to end up at center. Wouldn’t be shocked if Corcoran got a look either.

Awful OT play this past year and not having a center leaves a tall order for Raiola.

I’m a big fan of giving Corcoran a look at center, but not sure if we can do that if Teddy isn’t ready to go.

How about is he serviceable? Would he really be leaving OSU with 2 others graduating if he thought he could start there. I doubt it. Probably a part time starter for Neb.

I think Noulii gets the nod at Center. The interior could end up being the strength of the line.

I think Anthony may end up at RT, but we will see.

That's what spring ball will be about. Lots of questions to answer.

I’m not sure if anyone else has said this and I don’t want to get anyones hopes up, but I’ve heard from someone in the program that There’s a chance that Cam may remove himself from the draft and come back next year. I’m not sure what the deadline is. It’s just what I heard.
