Student section and band filled awesome crowd. Enthusiastic as could be for a early season game against D2. Lit up when there were dunks. Players were into the game, raising hands pumping up the crowd. Overall, much better atmosphere than I expected!

Section 118 looks very weird. Fatcat seating has removed lots of real fans sitting close to the basket. We may regret having faux fans sitting there.
I know it's only Malloy, but, This is the kind of of start to the season that can create a little buzz.....I think the RAC as an opposition nightmare will be back this year, maybe a few upsets.......90% student section filled is impressive.......Sucks that I'm in Ohio, I would love to be there.......lol
The RAC has to have one or two "THE RAC" type games for the student-led social media buzz to start. That will help.

Good point....social media will play a big role in creating more and more buzz......word can get around quickly with a few Tweets with some highlights attached.
to be honest we are a long way from buzz. Students historically show up for the first game and ten dont come back gain until January.
I was up in the nosebleeds. Hobbs came up to us and told us to take the seats that were closer. Anyone else notice that?Good guy. Smart move.
Not talking about "compete for championship" buzz.......just a come out and see an exciting, hard playing team play solid basketball type buzz.
