Totally disagree. I find that I have to remind myself throughout each OSU game that he played there. I think he does a terrific job at being unbiased.

What a crock of ****. Never saw this. Absolutely playing to the audience. Lost all respect for him. His reference to Coach Shaws quote from “Ben Franklin” was spot on. But his drama filled 15 year old girl boo hooing was unnerving.
You know I used to like listening to Gus Johnson, but he wears on a person after about the second quarter of a high scoring game. Dude is screaming on most catches and six yard runs. He is not nearly as bad as that carnival barker Beth Mowens, but he is really trying to wear a guy out.
Whatever credibility he still had left after that fake cry. Klatt was better anyway.
I understand the university radio network hires homers, and maybe it is more common than I realize but how many universities have their associate AD for football - and a close friend of the head coach - doing color commentary
