How good is VA?

I gotta be honest I don’t really follow or pay attention to anybody besides our Dawgs. How good is VA compared to the rest of the pack? From what little I have seen aside from this game VA looks like they generally hit the ball well.

Virginia is really good. I don’t care what their record is. They have a really good pitching staff and hit enough. The way they started we did good to hold them to 4.

Not sure how good they are overall, but their Cerantola is better than our Cerantola.

I think they’d be way better than that if McGarry threw all season the way he has in the past 2 games.

They started 1-7. I know it’s an easier conference but if you compared us (record wise) from that point, it’s much closer.

They weren't particularly good over the course of the season, but you get to Omaha by being good at the end of the year, not by being good for the whole year. Tennessee belonged by either measure, and yet they are probably heading home right now if they aren't already there.

Yeah. He's 0-5 on the season. If he pitches the whole year like he did the last 2 games, you've got to figure he's at least 9-2. He may have made himself a lot of money in the last 10 days.
